Julia visits Quentin and inadvertently reveals the illusion's falsity by mentioning she didn't see the "fireworks" Quentin cast—something she shouldn't have known about if he were truly non-magical.

To wake Quentin, Dean Fogg summons a Matarese (a mechanical-looking scorpion) to enter the dream world. However, Quentin ultimately must break the spell himself by refusing to play the games of the Madness Maker , a figure from the Fillory and Further books. Memorable Moments
