The story follows Vanya Revzin, a man who followed all the rules—studying hard and earning a top university degree—only to find himself at 30 with no job, a mountain of debt, and a wife who left him. Desperate, he learns that a former classmate, now a successful businessman, is holding a high-stakes competition for high school students. Vanya decides to use his youthful appearance to pose as an 18-year-old to enter the competition and win the million-ruble prize.
