If you just want to see what is inside without unzipping the whole archive, you can use the (included with the Windows install) or the command line: Open your command prompt. Navigate to the 7-Zip folder. If a password prompt appears, the contents are encrypted

If you get an error saying "Cannot open file as archive," the file's header might be corrupted. You can sometimes fix this by using the [Test] command in 7-Zip or opening the file in a hex editor to check the start and end headers. You can right-click your file and select 7-Zip
