In 1975, the Zagreb-based band (meaning "Another Way") released their debut 7-inch single, "Dugi put" / "Izgubljena žena" , marking the beginning of one of the most successful chapters in Yugoslavian progressive rock.
: Following this single, the debut album became a massive hit, eventually earning "gold" record status in Yugoslavia with over 100,000 copies sold.
: The single served as a precursor to their 1975 concept album, which explored themes of loneliness and solitude . Musically, "Dugi put" showcased the band’s signature sound: a fusion of hard rock and progressive elements characterized by twin flutes and dual guitar harmonies, drawing frequent comparisons to Jethro Tull and Deep Purple.
: The band’s name was inspired by a poem by Federico García Lorca titled "In Another Way" . This poetic influence extended to the single's A-side, "Dugi put" (The Long Road), which was written by the band's drummer and primary lyricist, Boris Turina , and set to music by Ismet Kurtović .
