Following the defeat of Boss Cass in the previous game, Ty and Shazza are summoned to by the Bunyip Elder to help fight an ancient evil known as the Quinkan . While Ty is successful in clearing the Dreaming, the Quinkan are sent on a collision course with Earth.

In a final battle at the Quinkan Citadel, Boss Cass attempts to betray everyone with a massive laser gun. sacrifices herself to protect Ty from the blast. Fueled by this sacrifice, Ty defeats the Quinking and restores peace to Southern Rivers. The game ends with Boss Cass returning to prison and a statue erected in Fluffy's honor. Upon attempting to return home, Ty and Shazza are separated by a Quinkan attack. Ty arrives back in Southern Rivers , only to find the world in a post-apocalyptic state. Tails is an operating system launched from a USB stick or a DVD that aim to leaves no traces when the computer is shut down after use and automatically routes your internet traffic through Tor.
